Barley Twist

The inspiration for this side table came from the idea of using an old design element of a Charles II chair (17th century England), my personal enjoyment of carving and, of course, the challenge.

Materials: the legs are made from laminated and carved White Oak. The top is veneered with six pieces of European Burl Walnut, scribed in curved segments to form a spiral pattern.
