A traveling jewelry box. The marquetry picture on the lid is made up of 51 pieces. The image was taken from a 1906 Japanese woodblock print. The woods used are Harewood for the water, Aspen for the body and Rosewood for the hair. The exterior is veneered in Black Walnut, with a black lacquer picture frame border. Size 6.25”x 4.25"x 2”
